Byrnecut commenced the development of the Campbell Young Dickenson (CYD) Decline at the Red Lake Mine Site in August 2021 at the Red Lake Mine Site.

The mine is located approximately 400km’s north of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. After successfully tendering for a Fixed & Variable Schedule of Rates Contract an Alliance Contract was subsequently negotiated and agreed for the execution of the project.

Evolution Mining completed the purchase of Red Lake Operations (RLO) in April 2020. A full evaluation of the Mineral resource for the project identified a significant Mineral Resource in the upper levels of the Campbell and Red Lake orebodies. Preliminary mine planning work indicates this Resource will be able to be converted to Ore Reserves and provide low cost feed to the existing RLO processing facilities. Mine design and optimal scheduling of the project is ongoing.

Whilst a fully designed mine Layout is yet to be completed the Evolution Board has provided approval to commence a Decline from surface to commence access to the Upper Campbell and HG Young orebodies.
