How to participate:

In order to participate, go to www.footytips.com.au and either:
A. login if you were in the competition last year
B. create yourself a USER ID (please refrain from using nicknames, as we need to know who you all are).

Once you have registered and we have received your participation fee of $50 per person (which covers the entire season), you will be sent a link and password for the competition so you can join.

The payment format for this season is the same as last year. You will need to do a transfer via online banking to the following account:

Name: Byrnecut Australia
BSB: 066-000
Acc #: 11868824
** Please put your surname in the reference field when paying and send a quick e-mail to russell.sneddon@byrnecut.com.au once payment has been made.

All money must be received by Thursday 7th of March, which is the opening game of the season.

How does it work?

You will be responsible for putting your tips in every week. If you are going to be away for an extended period, you can tip as many weeks in advance as you wish.

There will be a weekly prize of $50 to the person who tips the most winners. In the event of a tie, the person who was closest to the margin for the “margin game” (and tipped the correct team of course) will be judged as the winner. If there is still a tie, then the overall margin difference for the season will be taken into account. A more thorough explanation can be found here.

Any game that you don’t enter a tip, will score zero (0) for that match. Tippers who don't enter any tips for a round receive a score of zero (0). If a tipper partially enters tips, they will receive zero for missed tips and regular scores for entered tips.

At the end of the season, the first three placegetters will be awarded prizes. The more people that enter the competition, the greater the prize pool.

The two administrators of the competition are Russell Sneddon (Apprentice Coordinator) and John Citterbard (Group Procurement Manager). Please direct any queries or issues towards them.

Best of luck and may the best tipper win!
