Agitator Operator at Jetcrete

Joining us in October last year, Ang plays a vital role at our Mt Isa operation, responsible for delivering the shotcrete to the sprayer underground. 

Angelica grew up in Malta, a small island in Europe surrounded by the ocean and nature, influencing her love for the outdoors. Ang moved out to Australia four years ago, equipped with a degree in Psychology and gained a wealth of experience in hospitality, agriculture, HR and construction. Ready for her next challenge and her sights set on the mining industry, Ang headed out to Mt Isa with her partner and landed a position with Jetcrete!

Her bubbly personality is infectious across the site, and the crew enjoy having her around. They commented on her hard work, saying “She’s consistent, safe and always has a go at anything that is asked of her without hesitation. Her machine is always spotless at the end of the day, and always finds something to do to help out.” Angelica was the first operator to drive our brand new LF700 Transmixer, and she operated it all week without a single scratch!

We asked Ang what she likes most about her job, “I love driving the trucks, learning about different parts of the mine and keeping my truck clean! I also really enjoy working with my crew and helping my team members”. On R&R, Ang likes to keep active, go camping, 4W driving, fishing, travelling, and learn about different cultures!
